Gum arabic (acacia gum) is a natural, water-soluble fibre and emulsifier tapped from Acacia senegal and Acacia seyal trees in northern Kenya. It is used across the food and beverage industry as an emulsifier and stabiliser in soft drinks, confectionery and flavours, in pharmaceuticals as a binder and coating, and in cosmetics.
